CLOSER I GET TO YOU

CHRISTIAN MODIFIED EDITION

The closer I get to you
The peace you’ve given me
Giving you all of my heart
Your love has captured me

Over and Over again
When I’ve fallen to my knees
Asking forgiveness for sin
Your loving arms they comfort me
Im just so happy, for what did for me

The closer I get to you
The blood you shed for me
Giving me all you’ve got
You died to set me free

Over and Over again
When I’ve turned my back to thee
Your love pursued me to the end
Until I gave up finally
Im just so happy, You didn’t give up on me

The closer I get to you
The closer I get to you (echoed)
My soul says “halleluuu”
My soul says “halleluuu” (echoed)
The closer I get to you.
The closer I get to you
Your love has brought me through
Can you say “halleluuu”

The closer (pause) I get (pause) to you

The End

Write an inspirational word for God’s people. “OK” I said, so I’ll just go to the source,
how hard could that be? “OK, God…what do YOU want to say to YOUR people?”

Response: Silence. Over and over again I got nothing but silence. “Am I beginning to
miss the point” I wondered? So…here I sit at the computer, looking at a blank piece of paper,
waiting for the words to flow through my spirit to my hands to the screen before me – and it hits
me…….The Holy Spirit began a conversation with me. He said”What does this page
symbolize? It’s Blank, nothing... I answered. “NO, the Holy Spirit shouted…Look again”.
Then I began to take a closer, yet farther look at the screen to see what I was missing. The
screen is not blank…it’s WHITE!

White…ok, I got a clue…it’s symbolic of purity, cleanliness, you know…the whole nine
yards…then the Holy Spirit said…”SURRENDER!” At that point I wanted to stop writing but
couldn’t. “Surrender? Surrender? Are you sure? Surrender what?” And then the Holy Spirit
began to fully elaborate what I believe God was saying. “The paper for you represents the
“white flag” of surrender. It’s blank, exposed, empty, waiting to have something written or
drawn on it….It’s just there, waiting for something to happen.”

“Wow” I replied…but then the conversation continued…”But wait!” I said, “Surrender
is not a good thing, it’s often negative! According to Webster, it means I need to lay down things
and give things up (admit defeat), abandon rights to something. It also means giving up control,
delivery into legal custody, and giving self up to authorities (an act of willing submission to
authorities) and it becomes scary and makes one feel vulnerable.” By the time I got to the last
meaning, I heard the Holy Spirit say…”And that’s a bad thing why?”
I had no answer, so now I sat in silence, pondering what was just dropped in my lap and how this
word would help my fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ. After a few days of restlessness, the
answer came to me in a simple question….”Are you ready to rest? Are you tired yet? Are
you ready for a change? Want to experience something really fun and good”...and the
answer is “Y E S, Yes I am.” “So, He said…Surrender. Give up your control and give
yourself up to me. When you do this, you won’t be scared or feel vulnerable. What you’ll
find is that you’re feeling a sense of security, a sense of rest and an overall sense of
freedom.”

Now…I admit I’m still in the process of completing this task, but I wanted to let you
know that surrender isn’t a bad word…we as humans make it a bad word. I am coming to the
realization that as I “give up more of me and my way” daily, the more relaxed I am starting to
feel. It’s a strange feeling, it’s like being a kid, wanting and knowing your parents will take care
of you, instead of being the actual adult that we are with all the stress and struggle of adult life.

So my friend, I encourage, no, challenge you to take the first step! Let our heavenly
father be the Father he desires to be, and you (and I) be the child He has designed us to be. Our
lives will start to be less stressed; we’ll be happier, more obedient and life will start to be
brighter.

A Foolish mistake can reap a teacher
But wanton foolishness definitely reaps a prosecutor

For Mistakes can be learned from. Even foolish ones.
But the cry of wanton foolishness is (Always) destruction.

So be wise. Be unintentional in your your mistake making.
by pausing, and using your best judgment possible.

Why abide in a place of which we were never meant to reside?

Why demand freedom to do that which was forbidden for us to do.

Why make a claim to live in a way that we were not created to live.

Why demand of the creator to allow us to behave in a manner of which we were not created for.

Why reject the one who's very breath is essential in every breath that we take.

Unbelief is often used as a self created bubble, in which allows us to be able to live and do whatever we please to do, without facing or considering the reality and repercussions as a result of our deeds. It provides a false sense of reality where we play "Make Believe" a game where WE are the creator and rule makers and WE decide what is real and what is not, and what is right and what is wrong, and WE are the judges, and WE decide our fate however WE please.
Well, unfortunately like every game, it has an End.
Then it's back to actual reality which has no such thing.

Every insistent "self" created reality of life within ourselves requires one important essential thing.

A complete and utter denial of Gods reality.

And It is called "Make Believe". Because in order for our reality to seem real in our hearts and minds we have to "Make Believe" His does not exist or apply. This requires a conscious and consistent insistence of our own will, in order for us to "Feel" like we have "Freedom" when in actuality we remain in bondage.

"Freedom" does not mean Free of repercussions.
It simply means;
We are "Free" to Buy the bread if so chose, but there is still a cost to pay if we "Chose" to Buy it.

Choosing is Free
Choice (Always) cost.
To not choose is a Chosen Choice"
So in all your Choosing.
Choose....Wisely

People have asked. What is this surrender thing when it comes to God. It is because the current disposition of mankinds Sinfully carnal nature forbids us to accept and believe and live for God (naturally). That is why it requires a surrendering. A surrendering of the heart of which all else will follow. And a continual surrendering to live for Him, even though we currently reside in sinful flesh for the time being. (Read Romans: Chap 7 versus 5-25)

This is what Salvation is. Saving the soul within the sinful flesh. So that man by his own decision and choice, may walk with the Father daily, without the chains of sin restricting him. In other words: they have been set free from the bondage of sin that forbid them to ever do so and truly live. (Read Romans: Chap 8 versus 1-18)

Faith is not in (knowing) Everything one will do with your best interest in mind.

But knowing they have your best interest in mind in whatever they will do.

Trusting is knowing that they will do it.

Wanna learn how to not sound foolish in your talk?

Take the time to start I.D checking verbal thoughts at the door of your mind. If it's not of God, don't say it.
We are Not required to speak so quickly.
It's for a reason.

Time will tame foolish talk.
But the lack thereof will leave it wild and reckless.
So let us use Wisdom.

"A CUP OF YOU"

The problem with a full "Cup of You" is that it leaves no room for Gods life giving Word.

The problem with a half "Cup of You" is that although it leaves a little room for God, mixed with You results in confusion and misunderstandings.

But an empty "Cup of You" invites the fullness of God to come in, and results in clear understanding and life everlasting.

So instead of a "Cup of You" let "You" simply be...............The "Cup"

Ask, and you shall receive.
Seek, and you shall find.
Knock, and the door shall be opened.

(Ask) for me, and you shall receive me.
(Seek) My face, and you shall find Me, when you have sought Me with all of your heart.

Then and ONLY then, shall you be able to (Knock) on the door of My Kingdom, and of heaven, and it shall be opened unto you gladly, and rejoicefully receive you in because you (Asked) Me to come into your life, and (Sought) to be My child, and not the worlds.
Ask.

The only Hope is in Christ Jesus.
